National Philanthropy Day® Provides
an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of giving and all that it has made possible. Each year, more than 100 Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) chapters host NPD events and activities across North America to celebrate the endless daily contributions individuals and organizations across the world make to countless causes and missions.

How/who can I nominate?
Local non-profit organizations, volunteer or service organizations, professionals in the field of fundraising or the public benefit sector, e.g. consultants, and schools are eligible to submit nominations.
Who qualifies for an award?
Awards are presented to individuals, corporations, service organizations, youth, and young adults from Monterey County who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the community as a whole, through direct financial support, development of charitable programs, innovative program development, volunteerism, and outstanding leadership in the field of philanthropy.
